My 10 Favorite Photographs Ever
Below are my favorite 10 pictures that I have taken over the past couple years. They are not in any particular order, and the photos were all taken in different parts of North Carolina. I included the description, location, and reasons I like the shot as well.

Picture Details
Description: Near a green on a golf course just as the sun is rising.
Location: Olde Homeplace Golf Club (Winston Salem, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: The richness in the color of the sunrise and how the green is lit up. The lighting of the picture seems to be focused perfectly on the flagstick too.
Description: Wooded Area
Location: Pittsboro, NC
Why I Like This Shot: This wooded path is just off the bank of the Haw River in North Carolina, the rays of sunlight barely crept through the leaves to light up the pathway. A watercolor filter was used for this print.
Description: Pretty blonde girl in a flower garden.
Location: Reynolda Gardens (Winston Salem, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: I like the framing with the flowers around Ashley's body and the colors from the outfit, grass, wood, and flowers.
Description: Snow-covered creek.
Location: Wooded area. (Winston Salem, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: Nearly a foot of snow fell in this storm and pilled up on the rocks near the creek. The snow frames the creek and shows the exact shape of the water. Also the small red barn in the background adds to the composition.
Description: Mountains in the fall.
Location: Appalachian Mountains (Boone, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: Late October and the tree-covered mountain sides are brilliant with yellows, oranges, and reds.
Description: A wooded trail during Autumn
Location: Apex, NC
Why I Like This Shot: The leaves on that November day had a glowing yellow tint that lit up the forest during the afternoon. Even some of the trees seemed to bend over the path and create a tunnel.
Description: A dog and cat standing next to each other.
Location: Front sidewalk of a house. (Winston Salem, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: I mainly like the way the cat is looking up at the dog with almost a curious expression. And the dog (having no interest in cats) appears to be just barely tolerating her company.
Description: Sunrise on a nearby beach.
Location: Emerald Isle beach. (Emerald Isle, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: This shot required me getting up quite early and I took multiple shots until I got this one. The waves are receding back to the water and you can see the sun's reflection on the temporarily still water. I also like the proportions of the land, sky, and water.
Description: Bride and groom celebrating after being married.
Location: Cody Creek Chapel. (Dobson, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: You can see the emotion on the bride and groom as they celebrate just being married. After all the stress and preparation of the morning, they finally have the chance to enjoy themselves.
Description: A sunset over a lake.
Location: Lake Jordan (Durham, NC)
Why I Like This Shot: The clouds and the reflection of the sunrise on the calm lake waters made this shot amazing. The sky was lit up with many hues just before the sun reached the horizon.
